Sightseeing
Duxbury Beach
Great for a walk, run, or lounge. Drive or walk across Powder Point Bridge, the longest wooden bridge in America! Enjoy scenic views of Duxbury Bay to the west and Cape Cod Bay to the east. Matty used to lifeguard here in the summer so they are very serious about your safety.
King Caesar House was the mansion of Ezra Weston II, America's largest shipbuilder and merchant in the early 19th century. Tours are available, and it is near the beach!

Offers whale watching and a variety of harbor cruises out of Plymouth Harbor, perfect if you want to hit the water during your time here.
Captain John Boats
Plimoth Patuxet
Plimoth Patuxet (formerly Plimoth Plantation) is a renowned living history museum in Massachusetts, replicating the 1627 Pilgrim settlement and a Wampanoag homesite. It features costumed interpreters acting as 17th-century colonists to showcase daily life. We once saw one of these interpreters de-feathering a real chicken! Plymouth Rock is just a rock engraved with “1620”, so go here if you want to feel like a Pilgrim.

Island Creek Oysters
If you’ve had East Coast Oysters, chances are you’ve had an Island Creek Oyster. The raw bar is perfect for lunch or casual dinner, a brew, and a souvenir (whether a fun T-shirt or a freezer full of shellfish). A must-do!
Also owned by Island Creek Oysters, they have a more extensive seafood and dinner menu located in a historic setting with amazing drinks. Everything is delicious. This is our favorite restaurant in Duxbury!
Winsor House
Great coffee, breakfast pastries, and sandwiches in the neighboring town of Marshfield. Coffee roll is a must-order.
